Speakers will describe their projects and why permaculture is a valuable and unique tool for helping to bring about a preferred future.



Shaelee Evans, Northwest Permaculture Convergence
will describe what is the NWPCC, bit of history, current projects, why the NWPCC is important, how can you participate?


Jan Spencer, Suburban Permaculture

will give a pre view of his 4 part series that will touch on perma culture and economics, aspects of a preferred future, transforming suburbia, permaculture and urban land use, reducing eco footprints; allies, assets and actions in the community [Eugene and beyond]; pushing back on cars, short look at selected European cities, reaching out.

Ole Ersson, Founder of Kailash Eco Village
will describe transforming a run down, drug infested apartment complex into a remarkable & dynamic eco village with 50 residents, much depaved, social participation, engagement with the neighborhood, reduce eco footprints, resource sharing.  The place is a residential school for a new paradigm.

Skeeter Pilarski, Northwest Permaculture Maven
will describe the upcoming Global Earth Repair Conference.  Skeeter has a lengthy history of permaculture activism. He has taught many PDCs and has organized more events than one might imagine.  He is a farmer, herbalist and inspiration. Skeeter is a lifelong student of plants and earth repair.Here is more info
