One Location - The Suburban Frontier
These images show a variety of features for taking care of more needs closer to home. There are many benefits and its also a lot of fun. For me, its been one of the most expansive experiences in my life.
Work started on my place 14 years ago when I moved in. The intention when I bought the house and property was to make a lot of changes. The site has good soil, the climate here is great for all kinds of temperate fruits, shrubs, brambles, vines, veggies. I rarely buy fruit or veggies at any time of the year. My experience here gives me new meaning to the term "home economics" - sun, soil, rain, creativity. Home economics and rebuilding civic culture are core elements on the suburban frontier.
