Bungalow

A major property improvement began in the late spring of 2005. The existing shed was sagging badly and needed to go. The shady and severely soil compacted site indicated a building. I also needed a storage and work space and a living space to, again, increase the residential density of the property. The construction took a good deal longer than anticipated- seems like projects are always that way. Many friends were helpful and essential. I learned a great deal about code compliant construction. As of September, 2006, the bungalow has been my residence and is serving me well. Fotos below capture the project and a number of interesting design features.
