Here are highlights from 2019.  Mostly in and near Eugene but several trips out of state. Two by Amtrak.  One unusual highlight of 2019, I was invited to have a monthly radio program on a local station.  Those one hour programs are podcasts now, a great experience to produce "Creating A Resilient Future."  We had the most snow in 50 years, then a couple months later, the Willamette River flooded and was highest I have ever seen.  My place becomes better and better - producing an appreciable amount of my needs here on site - food, water, energy.  I very much enjoy my housemates. Love having so much food growing all over.  Lots of promoting permaculture - site tours, presentation series at the neighborhood rec center, going to conferences, event organizing, guest opinion in the local mainstream paper.

Also some great bike rides.  Time with friends.  Time for some goofing off.  Home improvements.  Reloading freezers with this years garden produce.  The world becomes ever more frayed.  Current national politics as many observe, most divisive, perhaps ever.  Conditions must be really bad for so many people to think Trump is their champion.  We need a basic point of reference for this country neither Republicans or Democrats [none of the above] can come close to - living within our eco logical means, an honest market place. But people can choose to live within our eco logical means in their own lives.  That choice comes with no permission needed and with many benefits to be gained.  So here are fotos that provide a nice overview of my 2019. Please send some of you fotos or create your own gallery on line to share with friends.
