Foto Review for 2013

Many of the highlights of the past year.

Life at home. Its great to see the place evolve - transforming a suburban property continues to be one of the highlights of my life. I enjoy house mates, watching the change in seasons with all the plant companions.

Zora, my favorite kitty pal died in November.  She had lived here from the beginning.  She is missed every day.

We have more shared projects going in the nearby neighborhood.  Newest effort is to create a positive community space - small scale retail, culture, services,,,,, in an un used 10,000 ft sq commercial building along River Road, the main collector through our neighborhood.

Certainly, most resource intensive occasions of the year were out of town trips, one to Arkansas and Texas, the other to the North East US.  See below.

Hard to imagine I will be 62 in January.  Focus of life continues to be advocacy for a very different culture and economy that is friendly to people and planet.  So grateful to have a quarter acre to show what some of that alternative can look like and to work with others nearby who share the vision.

Much to be grateful for and much work to be done.  I can't imagine 2013 America to be the ultimate in human potential. There are great tools and assets available just about everywhere for making the changes.
It's wonderful to see bits and pieces of a different world taking shape in many many places.  Finally, I am so grateful for friends to share the adventure of life with.
