Painting extends the model layout into the distance. Use of cambric cloth allowed for the diorama to be painted in the studio and then applied to existing plexiglass that surrounds the layout on three sides.

Dioramas can be custom painted to any specifications requested by the layout's owner such as architecture, animals, landscape, photos, etc.
