Thanks to the urgent and gut wrenching decision to close the border in 2024; Oregon, Washington State and southern British Columbia have managed comparatively well. In the neighborhoods, much of Eugene resembles what it looked like 25 years earlier, but a stroll to one of the busier streets finds a multitude of bicycles, the occasional horse trolley and virtually no cars. Meanwhile, Windmill Co-op is set to welcome several new residents,,,,,,
