On Line presentation- Eco Logical Culture Change - closely related to the Series

Join us for a fascinating, timely and thought provoking exploration of a world in rapid transition. Climate change, resource depletion, foreign relations and a host of other trends demand our attention, presenting us with unprecedented challenges.

The Series will examine these trends and then focus on practical neighborhood scale responses touching on home economics, eco culture, land use, building community in the neighborhood and creating mutual assitence networks. We will see several films, engage in conversations, be part of new friendships, tour sites and meet people in River Road already responding to these emerging challenges.

The goal of the series is to empower individuals, families, schools, civic organizations and businesses in River Road to become much more eco logical in the way we take care our needs relating to food, shelter, transportation, health, employment, and civic relationships. The Series is intended to elevate community cohesion and create a platform to launch many new initiatives and collaborations for building eco logical culture in the neighborhood. Eco Teams and mutual support groups of all kinds, for example, can be great fun, serve important needs, increase our personal and cooperative security and help reduce our ecological footprints.

The entire series is free and all are welcome. Please invite friends and neighbors, in the 'hood and beyond!
