Suburban Permaculture This project began in 2000 when I moved into this mid fiftees suburban house and 1/4 acre property in Eugene, Oregon. The intention from the start was to remake the house and property with mostly low cost strategies so it could take care of more of my needs from on site assets like rain, soil and sun, plus my own creativity. There are many fotos that document the past nearly ten years. Its been a wonderful experience. To see the fotos, check the column to the left starting with "Graphic view of the site."If you are working on a similar project, please tell me about what you are doing, where you are, and what your experience has been. Thanks! One section of GTLC is about urban land use shifts. On the DVD there are fotos of my place and other locations with similar features, several examples are much larger in scale that include multiple properties.Website under reconstruction! |
