Conference

I welcome invitations to speak at stand alone events, conferences, giving workshops and at universities.

As of mid November, the Global Trends - Local Choices Project is moving along. I would like to start planning a speaking tour for January and February 2010.

First destinations would be in Oregon, then Washington State - later January and early February. Then California late February and March. Please let me know where you would like for me to speak and approximate date if you have one. Ideally, locations and dates can be arranged to be as convenient and energy responsible as possible. I will be travelling by car.

Public Presentation

Please contact me with your ideas for hosting. Where, when, audience. Who is doing the organizing. I would like to have a good idea of how you plan to promote the event.

I need to make sure my time is well used and how you present your plans to me will help me decide places to make presentations. I am glad to work with you to help make the event a success.

Consider collaborations with kindred organizations. Media interviews for me. Please have a look at making the most of hosting, it has a lot of great ideas. Finding sponsors can be a big help. You most likely have more tools to work with for a great event then you know. I am glad to help!

Workshop

For a four hour workshop, I would like a $400 guarantee. Any DVD sales I make can subtract from the $400. You may charge admission for a workshop. I am open to other arrangements. Please follow this link for inforation about workshops.

University

For a university engagement, I would like $300 for four continuous hours of being available. For example, I could speak to 2 classes in a row, meet with students or faculty, evening talk. I am open to other ideas. Also, dinner and a comfortable place to stay the night.

Conference

Please describe the conference and what you would like from me.
